XMapping allows CGXPress to display National Weather Service weather alerts using weather crawls and maps.
XMapping was designed as a better alternative to more expensive stand-alone weather display systems. The combination of Broadcast Software Solutions' CGXPress and Danny Lloyd/Software Services Company's Weather Message delivers a more robust weather presentation capability that is easier to set up and use, and at a fraction of the cost.
XMapping gives the graphics designers responsible for the on-air look complete control over weather crawl and map template pages while keeping the weather display operation for the master control operator as simple as pressing a button.
XMapping can display a weather map with color legend instead of a weather crawl or at the completion of a weather crawl.
CGXPress also gives the master control operator access to a full function character generator when the weather system is not in use.
