About Broadcast Software Solutions: Broadcast Software Solutions was founded over a decade ago by current and former broadcasters in Atlanta to provide simple and cost effective solutions to weather, EAS, and Master Control character generation and graphics. The majority of TV stations in the United States have, and use, at least one BSS software/hardware product in Master Control, saving labor costs, and creating new revenue streams. Always looking for ways to create new labor saving solutions for the Broadcast Industry, BSS created SportsTouch™ and SchoolTouch™, the specialized automation systems used by many stations for automatic scoring to air for sports and automatic school closing. Both SportsTouch™ and SchoolTouch™ operate with minimal human intervention utilizing telephone input of vital information. After the 9/11 disaster, BSS was asked to provide a quick solution to continuous crawls for fast updates of disaster information by some of the networks and TV stations in New York City, using it's CGXPress+ software with the Digital pcCodi. Now it's an industry standard! As new needs come about in Master Control character generation and graphics, and specialized automation for labor saving in TV stations, BSS will be the firm to create the solutions and provide them quickly to the industry. The engineering team at BSS consists of broadcasters with many decades of successful broadcast engineering experience. The leader of the team and founder of the company is Doug Ingram, a former broadcast engineer with over 32 years of service in the field. With the vast knowledge and experience that our engineering department has in broadcasting, we are able to relate to our customers on the level they deserve and respect, and in turn deliver products our customers can rely on to help get tasks accomplished professionally. At BSS we are dedicated to developing the finest products by using the most up to date technology available for the most stable environment. We develop all our software applications using the latest technologies utilizing C++, C#, and others.
